Steam Republic is looking for an apprentice graphic designer who has skills and experience in UI design and knows his/her way with Adobe’s CS4 tools. Understanding of XML and HTML basics is a plus.

Steam Republic has been heavily engaged in exploring various business events in Helsinki and Tampere in the past week to develop it’s existing network and create new connections within the local and international business community.

Prime Minister Janne Airo and Trade Minister Paavo Bäckman returned home safely from their 3 day business expedition in Germany, where they negotiated partnership treaties with several parties regarding Steam Republic’s first product, Mobile Backstage. The adventure was a rewarding success and active negotiations shall be continued with many of the partner candidates acquired.

A Delegation from Steam Republic is participating the MindTrek happening in good old Tampere, where the first electric light in the Nordic countries was lit in Finlayson factory in 1882. As of today, September 30th 2009, the company formerly known as Backstage Alliance Ltd (or Oy for the fellow Finns) will operate as an independent company under the new name of Steam Republic.
