Dizzee Rascal: Mobile Backstage is a mobile social application produced and tailored by Steam Republic, a Finnish software company specializing in fan-oriented marketing. The app is currently available for iPhone, iPod Touch and most Java based phones (e.g. Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung). London-born MC Dizzee Rascal’s music is best described as an extremely eclectic mixture of garage, hip hop, rap, grime and ragga, as he draws his broad palette of influences from metal guitars to found sounds, drill and bass synth lines, exotic samples and even Japanese court music. Earning the 2003 Mercury Prize for his debut album, Boy in da Corner, follow-up albums Showtime, Maths + English and Tongue N’ Cheek have all been critically acclaimed and certified gold.
