Sweet Thing’s own mobile app ‘Sweets’ OUT NOW!
Prior to releasing their much anticipated debut album on EMI Canada on August 17th 2010, Toronto pop rockers Sweet Thing are offering dedicated fans their very own Sweets app to personally communicate with the band and other fans on mobile.
Sweet Thing are known for incredible live shows, great energy and their unique infectious pop sound with an edge. Charged with dueling guitars, foot stomping grooves, soulful harmony singing and a healthy dose of hand claps, they want to make you dance. Influences range from classic rock to Motown/Soul to indie power pop. This past December, the band performed on The Hour’s Holiday Special, alongside artists such as Norah Jones, Metric and Michael Buble, and they have continued to make new fans while opening shows for artists including The Kooks, The Stills and Kate Nash.
