You Me At Six: Mobile Backstage powers up!
Following the release of our You Me At Six: Mobile Backstage in February, the app has gathered an uncanny amount of fan activity and excellent feedback.
- For us at Steam Republic, You Me At Six’s Mobile Backstage has been a concrete proof that the fan dynamics work just as we visioned it, and that there’s definitely a strong demand for dedicated fan communities in the mobile environment. I’m not going to bore you with stats, but I can say that the YMAS Mobile Backstage really is busy as a beehive, says Janne Airo, the CEO of Steam Republic.
The EMI signed pop/punk rock quintet You Me At Six (UK) first rose to prominence in 2007 with the success of their debut album, Take Off Your Colours, and were nominated for best British band at the 2008 and 2009 Kerrang! Awards. Follow-up Hold Me Down recently reached the top five in the UK charts just last month. Currently they are doing their biggest UK tour to date and will be performing on the main stage at the Leeds and Reading festivals come this summer.
